Welcome To our Periscope

Periscope Community Health Services was established to bring together behavioral health professionals dedicated to caring for our communities. Covering Nashville, Tennessee; PCHS provides a continuum of services to meet the needs of over one million Tennesseans.

Mission:

Our Mission is to serve individuals, families and communities through prevention, treatment and recovery services, ensuring that help today leads to a better tomorrow.

Leading the behavioral health field with innovations in prevention, treatment and recovery for individuals and families which promote the wellbeing of our communities.

Periscope Community Health Services receives funds from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS) and Managed Care Organizations under contract with the state of Tennessee. Whereby, no person in the United States or in Tennessee, shall on the basis of age, race, color, national origin, disability, religion, sex, gender identity (including gender expression), ethnicity, sexual orientation, cultural origin, veteran status, political affiliation or socioeconomic level be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal and/or Tennessee State funding assistance (Civil Rights Act of 1964; T.C.A. 4-21-904; Rehabilitation Act of 1973).

Addictions and co-occurring disorders treatment services are designed to help individuals develop the necessary skills to maintain a healthy, recovery-oriented lifestyle. Outpatient counseling may include individual, family and group counseling. Family involvement is an important component of the recovery process and is welcome as part of each person’s treatment process. Outpatient counseling is offered at all times.
